Clashes broke out between refugees and police on Lesvos. Greece arrested 130,000 in the first two months of 2016 for illegally entering and staying in, in comparison to 9,000 in the entirety of 2015. MSF resumes its search-and-rescue operations in the Mediterranean. Germany seeks to make it easier to deport LGBT refugees from Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia to their home countries, disregarding the laws criminalizing homosexuality.
